Best Insoles for Flat Feet

How We Pick

Last updated: October 24, 2026

How we research and rank insoles for flat feet, and what we do not do.

1. What we compare

  • Arch height and shape: flat feet usually do best with low-to-medium arch support rather than a tall, hard arch.
  • Support structure: rigid, semi-rigid or cushioned, and how deep the heel cup is.
  • Length and volume: full-length or 3/4, and how much room the insole takes in a shoe.
  • Use: everyday shoes, standing at work, running, work boots or children’s shoes.

2. Where the information comes from

Brand specifications and fitting guides, independent reviews, podiatry and medical sources, and patterns in feedback from verified buyers. Each guide shows the month it was last checked.

3. What we do not do

We do not run lab tests or claim to have worn every product. We do not accept payment or free products for placement. We do not show prices, because they change every day; you see the current price on the product page.

4. Updates

We review our picks when a product is discontinued, redesigned or renamed, and when better evidence appears. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].
